Award fluff
[edit]@Ratheef Ahammed Refuon: With regard to your huffing and puffing in the edit summaries related to this resubmission of awards, Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information. Further, there are probably ten award mills for every resident of India and we are not here to log every one, as they largely exist as a promotional marketing tool. As with most lists of notable people or notable businesses or notable anything, the criteria for inclusion has traditionally required that an article for the entry should exist, where notability has been adequately demonstrated beforehand. This is similarly stated at WP:FILMCRITICLIST, which even specifically mentions award mills as being a source of vexation. Notability is also not inherited, so just because a notable organisation issues an award doesn't mean that the award is notable. Star Parivaar Awards, for instance, are issued by a notable entity, but the awards are meaningless, since they exist only to lavish praise on their own shows and employees. An award being televised doesn't mean that the award is notable or meaningful. A newspaper might be notable, but that doesn't mean the awards are notable.
And the mere fact that the press sends photographers out to document the lavishness doesn't mean that the award is notable either. The press needs to sell newspapers and get readers to click on stuff. They always work hand-in-hand with PR departments and it doesn't cost them much to send a photographer or entertainment reporter to do the red carpet nonsense. Not swaying. So if you want to include these other awards, you'll need to argue for their notability, and no, ref bombing the article obnoxiously doesn't hold much water either.
